PennDOT is conducting a survey of licensed Pennsylvania drivers relating to several highway safety topics. Each state is required to complete this survey by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

In Pennsylvania, people convicted of a second or subsequent offense of DUI are required to have an ignition interlock system installed on their vehicle for one year. Would you support a law that requires any person convicted of a first or subsequent DUI offense to have an ignition interlock system installed?
In March, a Pennsylvania law went into effect that prohibits sending, reading and viewing “text-based communication” while driving. Before this survey, were you aware that the new law applies to viewing/writing emails, and viewing/writing messages in applications such as Facebook and Twitter?
